Saphir

Saphir

SAPHIR is a shortened stem, with a trapezoidal section in its proximal region, quadrangular section in the distal part and with a smooth distal tip.

SAPHIR stem has been designed with different intraoperative needs in mind and it is available in a wide range of sizes and versions, with progression of the extramedullary part (the neck) in homothetic increments.

Homogeneous anchoring and filling

SAPHIR stem has a 6° profile in the proximal area in medio-lateral projection, to improve metaphyseal anchoring and increase rotational stability.

The profile decreases to 2° starting from the middle section.
