Gruppo Bioimpianti is pleased to announce a non-exclusive agreement with Pixee Medical for the distribution of Knee+ augmented reality navigation system for K-MOD primary knee prosthesis system, in Italy, France, Australia and in all our distributors’ Countries, where regulatories affairs are validated.

Pixee Knee+ solution offers the orthopaedic surgeons an intraoperative assistance for the implant positioning with the help of augmented reality glasses.

The connected glasses calculate the 3D coordinates of the instruments, thanks to the analysis of their specific reusable markers (QR-Code), filmed by the integrated camera.

The navigation information is displayed in the surgeon’s field of vision, which interacts with the application thanks to the glasses’ accelerometers.
