The first implant of anteverted Saphir stem has been performed by Dr. Jean-Yves BOHIC at Centre Hospitalier d’Antibes (France).
SAPHIR stem has been designed with different intraoperative needs in mind and it is available in a wide range of sizes and versions, with progression of the extramedullary part (the neck) in homothetic increments.
SAPHIR stem responds to the need of optimal reconstruction in total hip replacement with homotetic and progressive increase of length neck and with five different types of neck:
